What is BPC-157 Capsules?
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a linear pentadecapeptide with the sequence GEPPPGKPADDAGLV. It is derived from a fragment of a protein described in human gastric juice and is comparatively stable in aqueous and acidic solution. In capsule form the substance comes in a constant amount per capsule, which makes standardised test series without reconstitution easier.

State of research
Most peptides are broken down quickly in the stomach. BPC-157 is an exception, as the first papers from Zagreb stressed: it derives from a gastric juice protein and stays stable in acid for hours. Accordingly, many rat studies gave BPC-157 in drinking water or by gavage, for example in models of gastric and intestinal mucosal damage, fistulas and tendon injury.
How much intact peptide reaches the blood after oral intake is poorly studied. There are no robust pharmacokinetic data and no controlled human trials. Capsules contain a fixed amount each and need no reconstitution. In research they suit experiments on stability, release and degradation in simulated digestion. The overall evidence is summarised in BPC-157 in research.
Status and quality
BPC-157 is not approved as a medicine and is on the WADA Prohibited List. Peptidkauf sells BPC-157 Capsules solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for identity and content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. Store the capsules dry, protected from light and at room temperature; no reconstitution is needed.
