What is FOXO4-DRI?
FOXO4-DRI consists of D-amino acids in the reversed order of a FOXO4 segment, linked to a cell-penetrating sequence (HIV-TAT). The D-retro-inverso design makes it resistant to proteases.

State of research
Senescent cells no longer divide but do not die either, and they release inflammatory signals. Peter de Keizer's group at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam found that such cells depend on the protein FOXO4, which holds p53 in the nucleus. FOXO4-DRI intercepts this binding; p53 then triggers apoptosis.
In the widely cited study (Baar et al., Cell 2017), FOXO4-DRI improved fur, fitness and kidney values in fast-ageing and naturally aged mice. Later work described effects on aged Leydig cells in the testis and in fibrosis models. Independent confirmation is still limited, and there are no human studies.
Status and quality
FOXO4-DRI is not approved as a medicine; there are no human data. Peptidkauf sells FOXO4-DRI solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
