What is GHRP-2?
GHRP-2 (D-Ala-D-2Nal-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, 818.0 g/mol) belongs to the second generation of GHRPs; D-amino acids and the non-natural 2-naphthylalanine make it more stable than early versions.
Research status
In studies GHRP-2 causes strong GH release and also raises prolactin, ACTH and cortisol, though less than GHRP-6. In Japan it served as a test substance for diagnosing growth hormone deficiency.
Status
Not approved in the EU and on the anti-doping prohibited list. Research use only.
