CJC-1295 No DAC (Mod GRF 1-29)
Modified GRF(1–29), a tetrasubstituted fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone without drug affinity complex (DAC).
| Substance class | Peptide |
|---|---|
| Sequence | Y-(D-A)-DAIFTNSYRKVLGQLSARKLLQDIMSR-NH2 (Mod GRF 1-29: D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27) |
| Synonyms | Mod GRF 1-29, Tetrasubstituiertes GRF(1-29) |
Structure
Mod GRF 1–29 comprises the first 29 amino acids of GHRH, the biologically active region of the hormone. Four substitutions (D-Ala², Gln⁸, Ala¹⁵, Leu²⁷) reduce enzymatic degradation and oxidation. 'Without DAC' distinguishes it from CJC-1295 with a maleimido-lysine linker, which binds albumin and has a much longer half-life.
Research focus
As a GHRH receptor agonist, Mod GRF 1–29 is used in models of the somatotropic axis, often combined with a ghrelin receptor agonist such as ipamorelin to study synergistic effects on GH release.
Status
There is no marketing authorisation; WADA lists GHRH analogues in category S2. Molecular formula and CAS number are reported inconsistently in sources and are therefore not given here.
