State of research
Survodutide comes from Boehringer Ingelheim and Zealand Pharma. The glucagon component is meant to raise energy expenditure and fat breakdown in the liver; the GLP-1 component regulates appetite and blood glucose.
A phase II trial in steatohepatitis (MASH), published in 2024, drew particular attention: after 48 weeks a large share of participants showed improvement in liver inflammation without worsening fibrosis. Phase III programmes in obesity and liver disease are under way.
Status and quality
Survodutide is not approved as a medicine and is in clinical development. Peptidkauf sells Survodutide solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
