Structure and origin
Spadin is a peptide from the propeptide of the sortilin receptor. PE-22-28 (GVSWGLR) corresponds to a short, more stable section of it.
Research focus
Animal models study how blocking the TREK-1 channel affects neurogenesis and neuronal plasticity. The evidence is limited to a small number of preclinical studies.
Status
No marketing authorisation. PE-22-28 is also a component of the neuro blend.
