Structure
Adamax is based on the Semax sequence (ACTH(4–7)-Pro-Gly-Pro) with an additional modification intended to increase stability. A peer-reviewed structural description has not been published yet.
State of research
Literature on Adamax itself is very limited; research questions follow those of Semax: neurotrophic factors (BDNF), melanocortin-family signalling and models of neuronal injury.
Status
Adamax is not approved as a medicinal product; data are limited to preclinical and supplier information.
